“Talk to Messi, Play like Messi, Be Messi”
The visitors can not only watch the spectacular show, they can also become active in the “Messi Challenge” – an interactive theme park designed around the omnipresent star of the show. During the 45 minute long challenge, the player gets to answer a trivia related to Messi, enter the famous Camp Nou stadium in a VR experience as Lionel Messi himself, and finally go through different football contests.
Kick-Point electronic football goals used for the Messi10 Challenge
Among the different football contests, there is a freekick and a heading challenge. Both activities use Kick-Point electronic football goals to detect the player’s accuracy. The measured data is used to display the player’s result and create an outstanding atmosphere via lighting, LED-displays and sounds. The player can dive in and get the true feeling of being Lionel Messi.
The goal technique itself has been used for hundreds of events all over the world during the past years. Not only daily events take use of the unique capabilities of the electronic football goals. The technique also allows to use it for custom creations that require a certain ball detection or shot measurement, as it is greatly represented within the Messi Challenge that has been created by Circe du Soleil.
If you plan on going to Barcelona, this might be something you have to see!
